Hub Melbourne
Hub Melbourne was founded in mid-2010 in a heritage building, Donkey Wheel House, as a collaborative workspace-meetingspace–eventspace for people to work towards positive social change. Hub Melbourne is both a physical and virtual space for collaboration, inspiration and connection of people and ideas. It is part of the international network Impact Hub in 25 cities.
Here Studio carried out a placemaking project, working as much as possible to involve maximum participation throughout the process, both in design and build. Ammon and Michelle were co-founders and active core team members of Hub Melbourne in the community node for design, events and placemaking during the start-up phase.
