Kaniva Social Infrastructure Study

The Kaniva Social Infrastructure Feasibility process has involved four workshops with key members of the community representing various sporting and service groups in Kaniva and surrounds.

Working from an asset-based approach and iteratively building on knowledge and capacity between workshops, the outcome has been the development of a Social Infrastructure Strategy which is underpinned by four Community Precinct Plans.

Projects that meet the needs of both current and future residents have been identified within these Precinct Plans, including many projects which are immediately ready to pursue funding through Regional Development Victoria and Sport and Recreation Victoria.

The Kaniva Social Infrastructure Feasibility Study was endorsed by West Wimmera Shire Council in June 2014. The full document can be viewed here
